Facebook, Twitter, blogs, or books ...they are all really about communicating, attempting to tell others more about who we are, and perhaps discovering more than we'd like to admit.

How we process that, has much to do with our genuineness and growth.

Sometimes we find out more about who we are, and who we want to be.

We all put forth an image ...and we all have to decide whether we are comfortable with that image, or not.

Ideas ...are presented and built upon.

Whether it involves the initial construction of the Mackinaw Bridge, for suitability and durability; or an aesthetic path through a city park, while listening to the genius of Mozart; or digging a tunnel deep within the earth's crust, discovering diamonds in the rough; or the writing of the Constitution of the United States, purposed for the longevity of a nation; or the perseverance of a Thomas Edison, stating, "Genius is 99% perspiration, and 1% inspiration; or the writing of the Bible, which involved much hard work along with the full inspiration of God ---all built upon, and guided by those who had the ambitions to seek and yearn for a higher calling.

Ideas are formed from basic elements, hardened, cemented in ...and built upon, creating many concrete paths as well as walls.  Many structures are built in our minds too.

The problem is, hate and discontent are built too.

I have many ideas.

Sometimes I feel I am inspired, and other times I have things enter my mind ...well, I just wouldn't want to write them down.  The ideas may be too silly, or I haven't perhaps thought it out well enough yet.

But my thoughts are not bad, nor are they filled with hate.

We do get bombarded with both ...but we have to be well-trained to exercise discernment, and never relax our guard against disillusionment.

There are things I want to share, and it helps to think it out by writing it down.

I use the Bible as the guide for my life,  but that is not to say this other stuff is not in me too, as I think it through.  It's where I'm at  ...at this time.  Though I doubt I'll change much, and though my basic beliefs stay relatively the same, I can always stand to improve my personal character.

As you read, you can't help discern somewhat about who I am, or how I'm doing with that 'character' stuff.

This is kind of how I believe. I don't practice always what I preach, but I am not glorifying myself ...it is God's standard that I believe is critical that we uphold.

I believe the truth of Jesus should be taught, and practiced as best we can.   It's not about who I am ...it's about who He is.
